Chandigarh, May 4– To mobilize oxygen cyclinders from one place to another, Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that 10 empty oxygen tankers have been sought from overseas which will facilitate lifting of oxygen. The officers have been instructed to initiate appropriate process for the same.
This information came to light during the the State Level Covid Monitoring Committee here today. During the meeting which was being presided over by Sh. Vij said that the officers should ensure 24-hour availability of oxygen in the state to ensure that no patient faces any problem in this regard in the state. He said that every possible effort should be made to pick up the oxygen quota of Haryana from Orissa.
The Health Minister said that the process of providing Tocilizumab and Remedisiver medicines should be started online in various government and private hospitals of the state. Thus, Tocilizumab and Remedisiver medicines will be made available free of cost in government hospitals and at purchase price at private hospitals as per the requirement.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Medical Education and Research Department, Sh. Alok Nigam, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, Director General of Police Mr. Manoj Yadava, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director General of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agarwal, Managing Director, HMSCL, Sh. Saket Kumar, Mission Director NHM, Haryana, Sh. Prabhjot Singh, CFDA, Sh. Mohammed Shayin and several other senior officers were present in the meeting.
