2,79,502.86 metric tonnes of paddy procured from Haryana’s mandis

Paddy has been procured from 28,599 farmers so far

During the Kharif procurement season-2025, a total of 2,79,502.86 metric tonnes of paddy has been procured from Haryana’s mandis. Out of this, 48,838.72 metric tonnes have already been lifted from the mandis/procurement centres.

Sharing details, a spokesperson of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Haryana said that paddy has been procured from around 28,599 farmers across the state so far. All these farmers are registered on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal.

The spokesperson further said that a total of 408,182.41 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in Haryana’s various mandis this season.

Since the commencement of paddy procurement on September 22, 2025, the highest procurement has been carried out by the Food and Civil Supplies Department, which has so far procured 169,427.82 metric tonnes. HAFED has procured 82,785.87 metric tonnes, while the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation has procured 27,289.18 metric tonnes.

It is worth mentioning that procurement of paddy at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), fixed by the Government of India, started in Haryana on September 22, 2025.

District-wise, the highest procurement so far has been in Kurukshetra. In Kurukshetra district, 140,592.56 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived, of which 113,085.78 metric tonnes have been procured. From 10,298 registered farmers in the district, 113,085.78 metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased. Additionally, 41,210.06 metric tonnes of paddy have already been lifted from the mandis in the district.

In Haryana’s mandis/procurement centres, paddy procurement is being carried out by the Department of Food and Civil Supplies, HAFED, and the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation.
