Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that police recruitment in the state will be conducted soon and necessary directions have been issued to the concerned officers in this regard. He further informed that all necessary arrangements have been made for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) scheduled to be held on July 26 and 27 across the state. For the convenience of candidates, special bus services have been arranged to ensure smooth transportation to examination centres. In addition, to support female candidates, one accompanying family member has also been allowed to travel free of cost in the buses.
The Chief Minister was addressing a large public gathering in village Jhojhu Kalan of Badhra Assembly segment in Charkhi Dadri district on Thursday.
Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 19 key development projects totaling nearly Rs. 68 crore. These include the foundation stone laying of 17 projects worth Rs 54.84 crore and the inauguration of 2 projects worth approximately Rs13.05 crore.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini praised the historical and cultural legacy of Charkhi Dadri, calling it a land of valor and pride. This region has contributed immensely to the nation’s freedom struggle and post-independence military campaigns. Every inch of this land echoes with stories of courage and sacrifice, he said.
He said that the region is known for its industrious people, strong values, and unwavering self-respect. The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to accelerating development in Badhra and promised that no effort would be spared in ensuring the region’s progress.
Badhra sees development works worth Rs. 495 crore since 2014
Highlighting the developmental strides made over the past decade, the CM informed the gathering that Rs. 495 crore worth of works had been executed in Badhra alone since 2014, whereas merely Rs 175 crore were spent on developmental works during the previous Congress government 10 year term. Of 203 announcements made for Badhra, 145 have been completed and work is underway on remaining.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his vision to accelerate district Charkhi Dadri’s growth, declaring that development here would proceed not just at double but triple the current pace. Since its establishment as a separate district in 2016, 474 announcements have been made for Charkhi Dadri, out of which 321 are complete and 90 are in progress.
He cited major infrastructural investments including 170 crore for four-laning of NH-148B, Rs. 27.63 crore for a railway overbridge near Rawaldhi, and Rs. 19 crore for a Maternal and Child Health Centre at the old hospital premises. In terms of welfare delivery, the district has issued 2.73 lakh Ayushman and Chirayu health cards. Under this, more than Rs 24 crore has been spent on free treatment of 30,000 individuals.
A Vision for Viksit Bharat 2047
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, the country has witnessed a decisive and transparent government, leading to an unprecedented transformation in the work culture. When Sh Narendra Modi assumed office as the Pradhan Sevak of the nation in 2014, India’s economy ranked 11th globally. Today, owing to the Prime Minister’s effective leadership and visionary policies, India has emerged as the fourth-largest economy in the world.
The Chief Minister said that the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, his unwavering determination, and the guiding principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas have given the nation a new direction and renewed energy. He affirmed that while fulfilling the vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, Haryana will play the role of a growth engine for this Viksit Bharat. He said that the government is committed to the balanced development of all regions of Haryana, be it urban or rural. “This is our resolve, and we are moving ahead on this path with full dedication,” he said.
Sh Nayab Singh Saini further stated that in recent years, the government has worked with integrity and resolved to make Haryana corruption-free. “Today, from this platform, we must take a new pledge—to make Haryana a leader in the fields of education, healthcare, and employment. We will empower our farmers, soldiers, women, and youth. He reiterated that their government is not driven by politics, but is a continuous and committed government dedicated to public service.
Haryana Government prioritizing development under Chief Minister’s Leadership-Shruti Choudhry
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Irrigation and Water Resources Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry praised the Haryana Government’s focus on development, stating that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the state is witnessing rapid implementation of key development projects, especially in irrigation. She said that the region, known for its valour and spirit of service, is now seeing the execution of long-awaited irrigation schemes.
The Minister informed that projects worth Rs. 125 crore have been approved for the district. These include laying pipelines, installation of borewell solar systems, construction of recharge wells and canals, and linking traditional village ponds with canal systems to enhance water availability.
She further informed that among the major upcoming initiatives is the construction of a lake over 2.5 acres in Makdani village at a cost of Rs. 32 crore, aimed at boosting groundwater recharge in nearby areas. She described the project as a potential lifeline for the region. Besides this, Rs. 40 crore reconstruction of the Bandhwana Minor canal is expected to begin shortly, which will directly benefit nearly 20 villages by improving irrigation facilities, said the Minister.
Smt. Shruti Choudhry credited the Chief Minister’s sensitive and decisive governance for making these transformative projects possible. She also applauded the government’s commitment to women empowerment, adding that the Lado Lakshmi Yojana will soon be launched to provide financial support of Rs. 2,100 to eligible women.
In a significant gesture towards Anganwadi workers, she said that cases previously lodged against them are being withdrawn with the Chief Minister’s approval.
Dadri has always been at the forefront of Nation-Building – MP Chaudhary Dharambir Singh
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhary Dharambir Singh emphasized the remarkable contribution of the people of Dadri in the service, defense, and development of the nation. He said that whether it’s safeguarding the country’s borders or strengthening its economy, this region has consistently produced hardworking and dedicated individuals. The overwhelming public turnout at the event, he said, reflects the growing trust in the leadership and policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he said.
Commending Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, he remarked that there were doubts about BJP’s prospects when the Chief Minister took charge. However, through his approachable nature, commitment to public service, and effective leadership, the party secured 48 seats in the Assembly. If this momentum continues over the next five years, the BJP is poised for another decisive victory in Haryana.
Meanwhile, Chaudhary Dharambir Singh also suggested upgrading the tracks at local stadiums to encourage and support rural youth in excelling at the state and national level in sports.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA, Sh. Umed Patuwas expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini for announcing development projects worth Rs. 68 crore for the Badhra region. He said the Chief Minister has shown unwavering commitment to the development of the constituency, approving key initiatives focused on public welfare.
He also appreciated the Chief Minister for honouring the region’s martyrs by unveiling the statue of Shaheed Arvind Sangwan. He conveyed special thanks on behalf of local ex-servicemen’s organizations for this respectful gesture. He also submitted a detailed memorandum outlining further developmental needs of the region.
Charkhi Dadri Emerging as a Model of Development – MLA Sunil Sangwan
Speaking on the occasion, MLA, Sh. Sunil Sangwan said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the state government, has set a remarkable pace for development in Charkhi Dadri. Within just six months of forming the government, several key projects have been approved for the region, marking a new era of progress that will benefit not only Dadri but also its neighboring areas.
He said that the recent state budget also reflects the Chief Minister’s strong commitment to Dadri’s growth. Among the major announcements were the upgradation of the existing 100-bed hospital to a 200-bed facility and the establishment of a modern trauma center, steps that will significantly enhance healthcare infrastructure across the region, including adjoining areas like Badhra.
He also expressed optimism about the long-pending issue related to the CCI, stating that the matter is finally heading toward resolution, bringing long-awaited relief to the local population.
