Haryana Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Sh Rajesh Nagar, described the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana as a welcome and commendable decision. Sh Nagar said that the approval of the scheme during the Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, sends a positive and encouraging message to the women of Haryana and brings significant relief to them.

He said that the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana is a powerful example of the government’s vision: ‘Sashakt Nari – Sashakt Samaj – Sashakt Haryana.’ This scheme will empower women with renewed strength, not only improving the economic condition of households but also paving the way for women to become self-reliant and confident.

Sh Nagar expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the  Chief Minister, under whose leadership significant steps have been taken to empower women. He said that the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana stands as proof that true empowerment of society and the state is possible only when women are empowered.

The Minister said  that under the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana,’ sisters and daughters of Haryana aged 23 years and above will receive monthly financial support. He added that the scheme will be launched on September 25, 2025, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.  Under this initiative, Rs 2,100 will be deposited directly into the accounts of eligible women each month.

Sh Nagar said that from the very beginning, our government has been committed to the empowerment, respect, and welfare of women. He emphasized that the government is working diligently for the interests, happiness, and prosperity of our sisters and daughters of the state. Our goal is to strengthen the women of Haryana, making them more empowered and self-reliant, he added.
