As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada dedicated to the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the BJP Mahila Morcha J&K, under the leadership of its President Adv. Neha Mahajan, organized a Drawing Competition and Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive at Satyakul Achievers Institution. The programme was meticulously coordinated by District Mahila Morcha President Ritu Thakur, with the active support of BJP District President Reasi Rohit Dubey, Mahila Morcha workers, and the State team of BJP Mahila Morcha J&K.
During the Drawing Competition, students from different classes showcased their creativity and ideas with great enthusiasm. Vivek Dogra, a student of Class 12th, secured the top position, while Ridhima from Class 8th won second place, and Aryaveer Singh from Class 9th stood third. The winners were felicitated with certificates for their remarkable performances, encouraging them to further nurture their talents.
The programme also focused on women’s health and empowerment, as sanitary pads were distributed among teenage girls of the institution. This initiative spread awareness on menstrual hygiene and aimed to address social taboos around the subject in a positive manner. The institution’s owner, Ashish Singh, along with his team, appreciated BJP Mahila Morcha’s efforts in combining education, awareness, and empowerment on a single platform.
Prominent BJP Mahila Morcha leaders and activists, including Urvashi Gupta, Poonam Gupta, Prerna Nanda, Neena Gupta, Meenakshi Jamwal, Ruchika, and Sudesh Panch, actively participated and contributed to the smooth execution of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Neha Mahajan stated that through such initiatives, BJP Mahila Morcha is working at the grassroots to promote youth talent, raise women’s health awareness, and encourage social responsibility, reflecting the spirit of Seva, Samarpan aur Sangathan as envisioned by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
