Anil Vij raises concern in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, seeks clarification over people roaming around in green jerseys

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij today took a sarcastic dig at the Leader of the Opposition during the ongoing Winter Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha and said that “Given the changed circumstances and the transformed avatar of Leader of the Opposition Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the entire Haryana wants to know whether he is trying to revive the Green Brigade once again.”
Sh. Vij said that he is concerned about this serious matter and is seeking clarification. He added that while everyone is free to wear whatever they like and choose any colour, he has noticed that eight to ten people are roaming around wearing green jerseys. He also said that he had seen in newspapers that these individuals were standing alongside the Leader of the Opposition and getting photographed with him.
He further said that “I only want to know one thing—whether Sh. Hooda, in his new avatar, is planning to reconstitute the Green Brigade. We have seen the era of the Green Brigade, and I fought my first election in 1990 during that period and won that election against the government. Therefore, it is very important for the people of this state to know the truth, he said.”
