Anil Vij Hits Back at Surjewala: “Fix Your Rhymes, Surjewala; Our Chief Minister Delivers What He Says”

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij supported the statement of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat that the time has come for complete awakening of Hindus and that India is a Hindu nation. Sh. Vij said that Mohan Bhagwat was absolutely right in stating that there is no need for any certificate from anyone. “We have been a Hindu nation since the beginning. We have a very ancient civilization, and in 1947, the country was divided on religious lines—Muslims went to Pakistan and Hindus remained in India. Even on that basis, the land we are living on is Hindustan,” he said.

While intracting with media persons today, Sh. Vij reacting to violence against Hindu families in Bangladesh, said that whenever Hindus anywhere in the world face adversity, they look towards India with hope. “There is only one country for Hindus across the world—Hindustan. Indians must come together, demonstrate the strength of unity, and encourage Hindus living in Bangladesh,” he said.

Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s tweet alleging that the objective behind ending MGNREGA is to eliminate employment and rights of the poor, Sh. Vij remarked sarcastically that Rahul Gandhi prefers traveling more and therefore gets little time to study. He clarified that there has been no restriction whatsoever on employment under MGNREGA. “The problem is with Lord Ram. Since Lord Ram’s name has been added, Rahul Gandhi is running away in fear,” he added.

Reacting to Congress leader Randeep Surjewala’s statement that crime is rising in Haryana and that the Chief Minister is indulging in false claims, Sh. Vij hit back, saying that he finds it amusing that Surjewala, now free from active politics, has taken to poetry, but should at least correct his rhyming. “Our Chief Minister does what he says. Operations are being conducted to curb crime, and around 5,500 criminals have been put behind bars so far. This drive is still ongoing. This is the most effective way to control crime,” he asserted.
