Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that an FIR has already been registered against the chairman of the Julana Municipal Committee and a contractor in connection with alleged corruption. He informed that the matter is currently under investigation and assured that strict and appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
The Chief Minister said this while responding to a query raised by MLA Vinesh Phogat, during the Question Hour of the ongoing Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
Responding to another question asked by MLA, Sh. Ghanshyam Dass regarding the establishment of a Transport area outside Yamunanagar, the Chief Minister said that the existing Transport area is now surrounded by densely populated areas, leading to increased congestion and operational challenges.
He further said that, keeping in view the growing urban pressure, the government is considering relocating the Transport area to a more suitable site that offers better connectivity and improved infrastructure facilities for traders.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the cooperation and input of the local MLA will play a crucial role in identifying a feasible and widely acceptable location. He assured that the new Transport area will be developed at a site that meets all the required requirements and serves the interests of stakeholders effectively.
