Leh, 20 Aug: A meeting regarding Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls held under the chairmanship of Dy. District Election Officer Leh A.G. Zargar with the political parties of AAP, BJP, BSP & INC today.
Dy. DEO Zargar informed that the BLOs are stationed in their concerned Polling Stations from the date of the issuance of the Notice and are taking claims and objections in terms of addition, deletion, correction and transposition. In addition to the existing BLOs, additional BLOs wherever required also appointed for the smooth conduct of Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls.
He further stressed the political parties to appoint BLA at the polling stations and ensure that deletion, addition, correction wherever required may be made and the general public may be educated about the importance of the Electoral registrations.
