Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that vaccination is being administered at a fast pace in the State and in this episode, a total of 2.22 crore (2,22,94,084) eligible beneficiaries have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the state so far.

Sharing more details in this regard, Sh. Vij said that out of total 2,22,94,084 beneficiaries so far, 1,62,70,137 beneficiaries have been administered the first dose of Covid and 60,23,947 beneficiaries have been administered the second dose.
He said that 1,22,27,596 beneficiaries falling in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated. In this category, 98,36,818 beneficiaries have been administered the first dose. Similarly, the second dose has been administered to 23,90,778 beneficiaries.
Sh. Vij informed that similarly, a total of 51,36,631 beneficiaries in the age group of 45 to 60 years have been vaccinated and out of which 34,54,356 beneficiaries have been administered the first dose. Similarly, the second dose has been administered to 16,82,275 beneficiaries.
The Health Minister said that a total of 39,41,670 beneficiaries above the age of 60 years have been vaccinated out of which 24,74,753 beneficiaries have been administered the first dose. Similarly, 14,66,917 beneficiaries have been given the second dose.
Sh. Vij said that so far 4,95,624 workers have been vaccinated in the category of frontline workers, out of which 2,51,681 have been given the first dose and 2,43,943 have been given the second dose.
Similarly, so far 4,92,563 have been vaccinated in the category of healthcare workers, out of which 2,52,529 have been administered the first dose and 2,40,034 have been administered the second dose.
