CM pays Tribute to Lord Mahavir on Mahavir Jayanti

Teachings of Lord Mahavir will continue to inspire Humanity-  CM

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh.  Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday paid rich tributes to Lord Mahavir on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, stating that his teachings are timeless and deeply relevant in today’s world.

Offering floral tributes during a programme held at Sant Kabir Kutir in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister said that the principles of non-violence, truth, non-possession and self-discipline preached by Lord Mahavir continue to guide humanity towards the right path. He said that Lord Mahavir’s message plays a vital role in strengthening peace, harmony and brotherhood in society. By imbibing his ideals, a more inclusive and harmonious social order can be built, said the Chief Minister.

He urged people of the state to follow the path shown by Lord Mahavir and promote love, tolerance and moral values in society. He further called upon citizens to take a pledge on this auspicious occasion to uphold the values of non-violence and truth in their lives and work collectively for the welfare of society.
