Shri Chouhan informed that the central government has given permission to procure up to 10 percent lacklustre wheat. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked that due to untimely rains, the percentage of lacklustreness has increased from 10 to 80 percent in the state, which has been procured in the interest of farmers. He urged that the central government should get 80 lakh metric tonnes of wheat lifted by the Food Corporation of India at the earliest, so that the problem of storage does not arise.
