CM Shri Chouhan planted saplings in Smart Garden

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with Shri Imtiaz Ali and Shri Vishnu Prasad of Sarthak Sanstha planted saplings of Karanj and Gulmohar in Smart Garden. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is planting saplings every day as per his resolve. In order to encourage the active participation of the society in the activities of environmental protection, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan does tree plantation every day with social-voluntary organisations and people working in the field of environmental protection.
Sarthak Sanstha does the work of plastic management along with picking waste. Since 2004, the organisation has been working as a special associate with the Bhopal Municipal Corporation in the field of cleanliness. The organisation has been honoured with 14 national and international awards.
On behalf of the organisation, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was also presented a water bottle made of clay and a watch made on a plate made by recycling of plastic bags and gutkha pouches. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan planted saplings of Karanj and Gulmohar today. Karanj is considered important in Ayurvedic medicine. Karanj is also used in religious works.
