Haryana’s Minister of State for Sports, Sh. Gaurav Gautam, said that for the renovation of the stadium in Dabwali city, district sports officer has prepared an estimate of ₹1 crore and sent it to the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP). The proposal has been forwarded, and the renovation work of the stadium will be undertaken soon.
The Sports Minister was replying to a question raised by a member of the House during the Budget Session on Friday.
He stated that in Sirsa district, there are Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Complex and Chaudhary Dalbir Singh Indoor Stadium. In Dabwali, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Sports Complex, and in Chautala, Chaudhary Sahib Ram Stadium function as sub-divisional level sports stadiums.
He further informed that in Sirsa district, there is one residential sports nursery and 50 sports nurseries. There are 21 coaches and junior coaches in Sirsa. A facilitation centre is also operational at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium in Sirsa.
