Stresses for completion of vaccination of all employees by May 7
Over 1300 government employees get COVID-19 vaccine shots on 2nd consecutive day
KARGIL, MAY 05, 2021: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve visited the COVID-19 vaccination centers been set up for government employees at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil here today where the vaccination in respect of the employees of different departments is underway these days.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the vaccination staff and expressed satisfaction on the overall arrangements for vaccination and the pace of vaccination of the employees.
DC Santosh Sukhadeve exhorted upon the employees taking the COVID-19 vaccine shots to follow the Covid Appropriate Behaviors (CABs) even after vaccination so as to keep themselves, their near and dear ones, and the district safe from the deadly Coronavirus.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the District Immunization Officer (DIO) Kargil and other concerned officers to ensure completion of the vaccination process in case of the employees of all departments by May 7, 2021.
Meanwhile, continuing with the vaccination drive to vaccinate government employees across the district, the District Administration Kargil inoculated over 1300 employees of different departments with COVID-19 vaccine shots for the second consecutive day today.
According to the District Immunization Officer (DIO) Kargil Dr Muhammad Abbass, government employees including those of the Council Secretariat, Kargil, Cooperatives, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA),Power Development Department (PDD), Power Development Corporation (PDC), Public Health Engineering (PHE), Youth Services and Sports, Kargil Renewable Energy Development Agency (KREDA), Government Degree College Kargil, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Government Polytechnic, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Kargil Development Authority (KDA), Planning Section DC Office, ICDS, Tourism, Fisheries, Forest, employees of all banks besides the government and private media personnel and members of the Press Club of Ladakh, Kargil received the 1st dose of the COVID-19 vaccine shots at different vaccination centers set up across the district.
The DIO said that 694 employees were vaccinated at the 2 vaccination centers at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil while 285 employees at Shargole, 98 at Chiktan, 87 at Sankoo, 57 at Drass, 40 at Tai Suru while 25 employees at Zanskar were inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine shots at different vaccination centers.dc kargil
