Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin visited the fire victims of Bohrihallan, where 03 residential houses were stuck in a fire incident. During the visit, DC took a thorough review of the situation post the fire incident, he asked the concerned officers to check the damage occurred so that proper and timely compensation is given to the fire victims.
He also asked the concerned officers to provide all necessary commodities to the victims and every possible relief step shall be taken for the rehabilitation of fire victims.
Meanwhile, the DC interacted with several delegations who apprised him about their demands. The DC assured them that every possible help would be provided on a priority basis. He also requested them to remain vigilant so that such incidents are averted.
The DC on the occasion was accompanied by officers from various line departments.
