Under the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, run by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the last date for submitting online applications for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students (PM-USP CSSS) for the year 2025-26 has been extended. Earlier, the last date was November 15, 2025, which has now been extended to November 30, 2025. The application process had begun on June 2, 2025.
Sharing this information, a spokesperson of the Board said that the merit cut-off list for fresh eligible students under this scheme is available on the Board’s official website www.bseh.org.in. Additionally, students eligible for renewal may apply as per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi. These guidelines are available on the National Scholarship Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in).
He informed that online applications for fresh and renewal scholarships received by all colleges/universities/institutions (L-1 level) must now be verified by December 15, 2025, and verification at the State Nodal Officer level (L-2) must be completed by December 31, 2025.
He further added that eligible students applying for fresh scholarships or for first, second, third and fourth renewals must ensure they submit their online applications on the National Scholarship Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in) by November 31, 2025. All colleges/universities/institutions have also been instructed to inform students at their level and verify their applications online at the earliest, so that the scholarship amount may be disbursed on time.
