Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed the Deputy Commissioner of Hisar district to visit the villages in the district where there is waterlogging in the fields due to unseasonal rains and overflowing of drains.
Delegations from villages like Ugalan, Petwar, Gurana, Sisar Kharbala etc. met the Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Disaster Management Department, today and apprised him of the damage caused to their crops due to the rains. The representative of Ugalan village said that due to overflowing of drains in their villages, there is a situation of waterlogging in a lot of area, which requires immediate action.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala addressed all their issues and immediately directed the Deputy Commissioner of Hisar District to visit the areas with waterlogging and water stagnation along with his officers and submit a detailed report soon. He said that in order to drain the stagnant rain water from the fields of the farmers, additional motors would have to be installed at the earliest. He also said that if there is no motor in any district of Haryana, then the water of this area should be drained by bringing a motor from Punjab, Delhi or any other place.
