KARGIL, JUNE 16, 2021: District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve has in a fresh order directed to vaccinate all labourers and government employees in the district to achieve the goal of 100 percent vaccination.
The order reads that in order to achieve maximum vaccination against COVID-19, the District Administration, Kargil has decided to carry out the vaccination of all the laborers above 18 years of age working in the district.
In this regard, instructions have been issued for strict compliance at all levels which state that all the contractors (Civil, GREF, BRO, Army) who have engaged laborers for various developmental activities shall provide the list and location of the laborers to the office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kargil on the e-mail ID: kargilalc@gmail.com.
The Assistant Labour Commissioner Kargil shall compile the data provided by the contractors, and forward the same to the District Immunization Officer Kargil who shall chalk out a detailed plan for the immunization of such laborers under intimation to the DC office, and complete the vaccination process by 25th June, 2021, the order reads.
The order further states that the Assistant Labor Commissioner Kargil and District Immunization Officer Kargil shall be the nodal officers for the whole immunization drive, and shall be responsible to ensure complete immunization as per the prescribed time limit.
