Chandigarh, July 31- Haryana Government has decided to auction vehicles with specific numbers which has generated an income of Rs.24.55 lakh through auctioning of HR26EQ series of Gurugram today. A notice regarding open auctioning was issued three days ago on the website of Haryana Transport Department.
Haryana Transport Department, Commissioner Sh, Amitabh Dhillon said that today the registration of vehicles with new series ‘HR26EQ’ of Gurugram district was opened for auctioning. In this new series, Registration Number-001 for Rs. 7.10 Lakh, Registration Number-002 for Rs 2.25 Lakh, Registration Number-003 for Rs 1.15 Lakh, Registration Number-005 for Rs 1.60 Lakh, Registration Number-006 for Rs 1.45 Lakh, Registration Number-007 for Rs 1.50 Lakh, Registration Number.-009 for Rs 5.60 Lakh, Registration Number-0014 for Rs 65,000, Registration Number-0017 for Rs 60,000, Registration Number-0018 for Rs 50,000, Registration Number-0026 for Rs 75,000 and Registration number-0099 for Rs 1.40 lakh were given through open auctioning. For all numbers, a price of Rs.15.25 Lakh was reserved, while people purchased it for total sum of Rs 24.55 lakh. The highest auction was for registration number-009, which was purchased by a bidder for Rs 4.10 lakh more than the reserve amount. Similarly, registration number-0001 was given to the bidder for Rs 2.10 lakh more than the reserve amount.
