Maharaja must quit immediately, if unable to control the situation: AAP
Said, Raja’s government should worry about Punjab instead of Delhi or other states

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Senior Leader and Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema directly blamed Chief Minister Amarinder Singh for the growing rage of corona in the state and said that if ‘Raja Sahib’ is unable to step out of his farmhouse and improve the situation then he should resign immediately.
In a statement issued from the party headquarters, Harpal Singh Cheema said that the Chief Minister can not cover up his failures and shortcomings simply by attributing the growing outbreak of corona to “public negligence”.
Presenting comparative figures between Delhi and Punjab, Harpal Singh Cheema said, “On September 11, 60580 tests were conducted in Delhi and only 33595 in Punjab whose corona positive rate was 7.0 per cent in Delhi and 7.3 per cent in Punjab. The recovery rate in Delhi was 84.90 per cent whereas in Punjab it was 71.40 per cent. There were 21 deaths in Delhi on September 11, while the number rose to 63 in Punjab. The number of covid beds in government hospitals in Delhi is 14379 and while in Punjab it is 8874. The number of Special Covid Health Centers in Delhi is 601 while the Punjab Government has not been able to set up a single such center. However, in view of the large population, the number of tests, beds and special corona care and special hospitals in Punjab should also be higher.
Addressing the Chief Minister, Cheema said, “Raja Sahib! “First make arrangements in Punjab more than in Delhi, reduce the death rate and increase the recovery rate, send oximeters from door to door by the government, then worry about Delhi or anyone else.”
Harpal Singh Cheema said the Chief Minister who is asking the public to buy oximeters in the market for Rs 514, is engaged with which new mafia? As it is available in the market at Rs 250-300.
Cheema demanded that the government provide door-to-door oximeters at its own expense.
