Students should make their mark in society as Justice Loving, knowledgeable and ideal citizens – Governor Shri Patel

Convocation ceremony is an occasion for resolution of life’s objectives. Every student should set a goal of life and follow the rules and behave properly. They should make a mark in the society as Justice Loving, knowledgeable and ideal citizens. Governor and Chancellor Shri Mangubhai Patel was addressing the students as chief guest at the 9th convocation of Avdhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa on Monday. He said that when the purpose of our life and the interest of the nation are the same, only then life will become meaningful.
Governor Shri Patel said that it has been written in the ancient texts that a person becomes superior by his actions and knowledge, and not by birth. Teachers play an important role in making students good citizens. He said that a new education policy has been implemented in the state. The new policy enables students to choose different subjects according to their interest. He said that the students should make tribals aware and motivate them to diagnose diseases like sickle cell.
Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that many students of Avdhesh Pratap Singh University have created a special place in education and many other fields. The university has implemented the new education policy promptly. He said that even during the difficult times of Corona crisis, studies and examinations have been conducted in the university. Dr. Yadav congratulated the students for bringing laurels to themselves and the country with their intellectual abilities.
Shri Mukund Kanitkar of Bhartiya Shikshak Mandal said that the joy of victory is attained only after competition and struggle. He said that only when the purpose of our life becomes clear, does our life become meaningful.
Chancellor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav conferred degrees on 80 successful students of the University. 64 students of the university were awarded medals for their outstanding success. ‘Diksha’ the annual magazine of the university and research paper ‘Vindhya Bharati’ were released during the function. Vice Chancellor of the University, Shri Rajkumar Acharya and Vice Chancellor of Maharaj Chhatrasal University, Chhatarpur, Dr. TR. Thapak was also present.
