Chandigarh, June 12 :- In the Khelo India Youth Games being organised in Panchkula, excellent arrangements were made to ensure that nutritious food is provided to players.
During this, food was prepared for about 8500 athletes and their staff every day. The players appreciated the food and other arrangements made by the Haryana Government.
As the Khelo India Youth Games – 2021 is nearing its last days, players from all the states and union territories of the country enjoyed nutritious food of their choice and entertained the audience with their competitive performances. The players of every state appreciated the spectators of Haryana, stating that the people of Haryana were coming to watch the event in large numbers and are also encouraging them.
Haryana has made special catering arrangements keeping in view the nutritional requirement of the athletes. Apart from eggs, milk, fruit, various local cuisines being provided in the morning breakfast. The players were also given food according to the requirements of the South and North Eastern states. Players from every state and their accompanying sporting staff are praising Haryana for hosting in such an immaculate manner.
Sharing views on, boxing player Lakshita Sharma from Madhya Pradesh said that the arrangements made by the Haryana Government for their stay and food in Panchkula is very good and they have been given nutritious food daily.
Similarly, Mohan Lal Dhakad, who has come to the Khelo India Youth Games, said that the arrangements for accommodation, travel and food have been excellent and the players are being given diet-specific food.
Similarly, boxing player Shantu Datu from Ladakh said that nutritious food is being given to the players here which is protein-rich. He said that the ground for training at Panchkula Stadium is very big here, which is also helping him a lot.
Among other players, Ritu Chakraborty, who came from Gurgaon in the state, said that the management of things like food, stay etc is very good here and different types of food are being served to them wherein emphasis is being laid on providing nutrition while taking special care of cleanliness and hygiene.
Similarly, Tamannaah Sanghvi, who came from Mumbai, shared that special emphasis is being given to provide a protein-rich breakfast. Similarly, in lunch and dinner, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food was prepared for sportspersons and others.
