Arvind Gupta holds public darbar at BJP headquarters

Jammu, 31 July 2025

Arvind Gupta, MLA from Jammu West Assembly Constituency, held a Public Darbar at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

The Darbar served as an effective platform where citizens shared concerns pertaining to infrastructure development, public service delivery, and local administration. Residents brought forth a wide range of issues, including delayed drainage projects, malfunctioning streetlights, irregular garbage collection, and challenges in accessing welfare schemes.

In his address, Arvind Gupta emphasized the BJP’s ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between citizens and government institutions. He assured the attendees that their grievances would not only be documented but would also be followed up with the respective departments for swift action.

Arvind Gupta said that such public outreach mechanisms are a core component of BJP’s governance model, which is based on transparency, responsiveness, and accountability. “Our aim is to ensure that no citizen feels ignored or neglected. These Public Darbars are an open channel where people can connect directly with their elected representatives without any bureaucratic hurdles,” he said.

Highlighting the impact of these initiatives, Gupta added that several previously raised issues have already been resolved through departmental coordination and on-ground monitoring. He reiterated the party’s resolve to carry forward the practice of holding regular Darbars not just at the party headquarters but also in different wards and blocks across the constituency.

He urged the public to remain proactive and to treat these platforms as a democratic right and tool for problem resolution.
