As part of the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada dedicated to the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the BJP Mahila Morcha J&K, under the leadership of its President Adv. Neha Mahajan , organized a series of welfare activities in District Reasi. The programmes were meticulously coordinated by District Mahila Morcha President Ritu Thakur , with the active support of BJP District President Reasi Rohit Dubey, his team, district Mahila Morcha workers, and the State team of BJP Mahila Morcha J&K.
As part of the initiatives, essential dry ration and clothes were distributed among the families affected by the recent floods in Dansar and Katra, extending timely relief and solidarity to the victims during this difficult time.
A plantation drive under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” was also organized at Village Tann, symbolizing respect towards mothers and spreading awareness on environmental conservation. On this occasion, ration kits were also distributed to needy families of the village, ensuring comprehensive community support.
Further, to promote women empowerment and the spirit of “Vocal for Local”, jute bags prepared by local Self-Help Group (SHG) women were distributed, thereby encouraging self-reliance and entrepreneurship among women in the region.
The event witnessed the active presence and participation of prominent BJP Mahila Morcha leaders and activists including Urvashi Gupta, Poonam Gupta, Prerna Nanda, Neena Gupta, Meenakshi Jamwal, Ruchika, and Sudesh Panch from Dansar Baba, who all contributed significantly to the smooth and successful execution of the programmes.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Neha Mahajan lauded the tireless efforts of the district and state teams, stating:
“These initiatives reflect BJP’s unwavering commitment to service, sustainability, and women empowerment, in the true spirit of ‘Seva Hi Sangathan.’”
