Chief Minister Manohar Lal extends warm wishes of Holi to the people of the state

Chandigarh, March 27- On the occasion of Holi, the festival of Colours, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has congratulated and extended warm wishes to the people of the state. He has also urged the people to follow COVID-19 guidelines while celebrating Holi.

In a message issued here today on the eve of Holi, the Chief Minister said that this festival is mainly celebrated for two days as Holika Dahan and Phag. Holika Dahan has great significance in our culture and traditions.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the ways of celebrating festivals and other social and religious events in public were partially restricted during the last year. Now, in view of increasing cases of this pandemic, the Government has decided not to organize Holi Milan gatherings.
