Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday paid heartfelt tributes to the great freedom fighter and tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary. The Chief Minister paid his respect by offering flowers to Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s portrait at his residence at Sant Kabir Kutir.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Bhagwan Birsa Munda is a symbol of pride not only for the tribal community but for the entire nation.
He said that Birsa Munda courageously fought for the rights to water, forests, and land. His life, struggles, and sacrifices continue to serve as a lasting source of inspiration for future generations. Celebrated as Tribal Pride Day, his birth anniversary reminds the nation of his enduring legacy. Chief Minister added that, guided by Birsa Munda’s ideals, the state government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development reach every individual and that justice is provided to the underprivileged.
