CM Shri Chouhan also joined the traditional Maharas late at night
October 20
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan started his address with the proclamation of Prannath Pyare Ki Jai. He said that the whole world is one family. Prannath ji has showered his blessings on all of us. It has also been said that Siyaram (God) resides in the whole world. According to this feeling, we are all dear to Prannath Pyare. Besides the Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh, Mineral MinisterShri Brijendra Pratap Singh, MP Shri V.D. Sharma, public representatives and a large number of devotees were present in the programme. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prannath ji came to Madhya Pradesh from Gujarat. With his arrival, this earth was blessed. The Chief Minister said that my prayer is that Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramaya. May all be happy, may all be healthy and may all be well. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prannath ji also guided Maharaja Chhatrasal. In the seventeenth century, he encouraged him for heroism. There is a proverb for Chhatrasal ji – “Chhatta tere raj me, dhak-dhak dharti hoye, jit-jit ghoda mukh kare, tit-tit fatte hoye” (In the rule of Chhatrasal, the earth trembles with his valour; he emerges victorious in whatever direction his horse turns). Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Panna is the holy abode of Pranami sect. Here the courtyard of Shri Gumbat ji temple is called Brahma Chabutra (Ras Mandal). Here Shri Prannath ji had helped the supremely affectionate Sundarsath have a darshan of the supernatural Akhand Rasleela, Jaagini Raas of Shri Raj ji-Shyama ji. That is why it is also called Jagini Leela. Since then the International Sharad Purnima Festival takes place annually. There is great glory of love in the Nijanand sect. Here love is everything. In Sharad Purnima, Shri Krishna bestowed esteem to love. The five-day Sharad Purnima festival is a symbol of full devotion, love and reverence.
