Sanjay Raut lacks knowledge of the Indian Constitution, there is a set procedure for convening a session -Vij
Chandigarh, 04 June 2025
Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij, today while addressing the media, questioned Rahul Gandhi, asking him to specify what kind of horse he himself is — a wedding horse, lame horse or a warhorse.
Sh.Vij made this satirical comment in response to a question asked by Media persons regarding Rahul Gandhi’s recent statement at a rally, where Gandhi had said, “We must put racehorses in races, wedding horses in weddings, and lame horses at home.” Sh.Vij mocked the statement by saying that while Rahul Gandhi is classifying his party workers into various types of horses, he should also clarify what type he is himself.
In response to a question regarding Congress leader Surjewala’s comment that the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has become a “Scam Service Commission,” Cabinet Minister Anil Vij hit back, saying, “Surjewala is actually right — because during their (Congress) time, it indeed was a Scam Service Commission. Now, it is a proper HPSC.”
*Sanjay Raut lacks understanding of the Indian Constitution, there’s a proper procedure to convene a session-Vij*
When asked about Sanjay Raut’s statement questioning whether we now need to go to Trump to call a special session, Anil Vij said that Raut is ignorant of the Indian Constitution.
Sh.Vij sarcastically questioned whether sessions were previously convened at the behest of foreign powers. He pointed out that even the opposition has formed governments in the past, and there is a well-defined procedure for summoning sessions. Taking a jab at the opposition, he added that now it seems Trump has occupied their minds to the extent that they wake up, bathe and eat only on Trump’s command.
