Chandigarh, February 21 – Haryana Governor, Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya said that the continuous process of learning and teaching should continue in universities, which would not only increase the intellectual level of professors and professors, but also students would get quality education. Shri Dattatreya was addressing the Vice Chancellors and Registrars in a one-day virtual workshop from Raj Bhavan on Monday. In this workshop, the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Chau Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Bhagat Phool Singh University, Sonepat and Indira Gandhi University, Mirpur were physically associated and the details of the educational activities in the respective universities. Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, Shri Anand Mohan Sharan, Secretary Governor Shri Atul Dwivedi, Director Shri Rajiv Ratan, Additional Director Shri Hemant Verma and other officers were present in the workshop. Governor Shri Dattatreya in his address emphasized on providing facilities related to entrepreneurship, start-up, innovation, research work as well as to create a better academic environment in the university campuses. He said that people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and women should be given more education related facilities. Along with this, teach the lesson of moral education to the students.
He said that for skill development it is necessary to establish contact with industrial units and establishment of incubation centers in universities. Along with this, the arrangement of job-placement is necessary. For this, full cooperation of alumni (alumni) can be taken. He said that the Central Government is spending Rs.51 thousand crores to ensure that the students get employment in the country itself.
He said that apart from preparing a definite schedule of academic sessions in the universities, there is a need for comprehensive improvement in the work related to examination and results. Under the new education policy, digitization of education by the government can move towards Internet of Things, Robotics, Blockchain Technology. He called upon the universities to prepare projects which would take them towards making Haryana self-reliant.
He said that by training the youth in eradicating social evils like drug, crime, dowry system, take their services in rural and urban areas for the campaign. Make full use of youth power by connecting with programs like plantation, environmental protection, water conservation, cleanliness, digital, Fit-India.
He said that to make the youth aware of the freedom fighters and the events and historical events related to freedom, connect them with the programs of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, so that the youth power will contribute in the making of New India.
