Development activities and public welfare schemes will not be affected

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has informed that the state is passing through difficult times on the economic front due to Covid. Development activities and public welfare schemes in the state will not be allowed to be affected. Every effort will be done to generate revenue and mobilize additional financial resources. CM Shri Chouhan was addressing the presentation meeting of the Group of Ministers for Revenue constituted under the building of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. The meeting was attended by Minister of Commercial Taxes and Finance Shri Jagdish Deora, Minister of Forests Shri Vijay Shah, Minister of Revenue and Transport Shri Govind Singh Rajput, Minister of Mineral Resources and Labour Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, Minister of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, Urban Development and Minister of State for Housing Shri O.P.S. Bhadauria, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Commercial Tax Smt. Deepali Rastogi. Officials of the concerned departments participated virtually. A presentation was made by the GoM on recommendations related to commercial tax, excise, forest, public private partnership, urban area management, urban development, industry, home and general administration departments.
