Attending as the Chief Guest, Sh. Vij presented badges, certificates of appreciation, and mementoes to voluntary donors in recognition of their service. On his arrival, he was welcomed with floral bouquets by Civil Surgeon Dr. Rakesh Sehl, Dr. Pooja, and BJP office bearers.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Vij said that “Blood donation is the greatest gift of life. The blood can only come from the human body itself. The Seva Pakhwada, started on September 17 to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is being observed until October 2, the birth anniversaries of Lal Bahadur Shastri and Mahatma Gandhi. Through a series of activities and programmes, this fortnight is dedicated to advancing the spirit of service.”
He praised the enthusiasm of participants, noting the strong turnout at the camp. Sh. Vij also interacted personally with donors, commending their commitment, and extended special appreciation to the women who came forward to donate blood. On behalf of the BJP Rural Mandal, party representatives felicitated the Minister with a memento and shawl.
