Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij took a sharp dig at the Congress party for holding a review meeting after its defeat in the Bihar elections. He said that“Congress does not need to review the Bihar election results. The reason for their defeat is simple — the party is full of fake and dishonest/lie leaders in whom the public has no trust.”

He further attacked PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, saying, “Is Mehbooba Mufti the mother of extremists? She is calling the major bomb blast that happened near Delhi’s Red Fort the ‘voice of Kashmir’ and is openly supporting extremism.”

Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by the media persons today.

Sh. Vij said that “Congress is unable to perform the role of Opposition properly, nor can it run the government effectively where it is in power. The public does not blindly trust what anyone says. They evaluate facts, actions, and performance. During elections, parties make many promises, but people vote based on real work done. BJP-ruled states are witnessing development, and the people of Bihar voted for the BJP–Nitish Kumar alliance after seeing their work.”

Reacting to Mehbooba Mufti’s statement that the “voice of Kashmir” resonated outside Delhi’s Red Fort, Vij said that “If Mehbooba Mufti claims that the terrorist act outside Red Fort — which was clearly an extremist operation — represents Kashmir’s voice, then she is supporting extremism. She has done so earlier as well. In reality, she behaves like the mother of extremists. Calling such a horrific attack the ‘voice of Kashmir’ is shameful.”
He further said that “If she believes this is Kashmir’s voice, then does she want bomb blasts all over India? Mehbooba Mufti is speaking completely against the spirit of this nation.”

Responding to Congress leader Robert Vadra’s comment that the Bihar elections were not conducted properly and should be held again, Sh.Vij said that“Robert Vadra is insulting the people of Bihar and the democratic system of this country. In a democracy, one must accept the decision of the people. Congress has suffered a humiliating defeat in Bihar. Congress and Lalu Prasad’s party have been swept away — they cannot digest this, which is why they are making such statements.”

Reacting to Congress leaders alleging that votes in Bihar were bought with money, Sh.Vij said that “Congress is the best crying party in this country. They should open schools where people are taught how to cry, so they can send well-trained people for the job.” Continuing his jibe, he said that“Congress cannot digest the Bihar election results. The people have been rejected them completely — and they should accept this reality.”
