Haryana Government to establish Awards for employees for commendable work related to Good Governance
Chandigarh, December 3
Haryana Government has decided to establish Awards at the state, district, and departmental levels for the employees/officers who have done commendable & innovative work related to Good Governance on the Good Governance Day (Sushasan Diwas) on December 25, 2020 (celebrated to mark the anniversary of former Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee). Meanwhile, the period of consideration for the award shall be 2019 & 2020.
Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the awards will be in three categories i.e. Social, Economic & Infrastructure Sectors. Also, the work of short listing, scrutiny, and evaluation of submissions for the awards shall be done through reputed external institutions, viz., Universities, IIMs and IITs.
He informed that in view of the above, all the Administrative Secretaries have been requested to provide their opinion in respect of the subject areas related to their own Department for which such Good Governance awards should be instituted.
