Haryana is the land of Hari, Lord Krishna preached in the Gita – Chief Minister

Chandigarh, February 26 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Haryana is the land of Hari. Lord Shri Krishna preached the pious message of Gita to Arjuna on this holy land. There are many different religious places here. Participating in yagya is beneficial for everyone and where there are blessings of Sants happiness prevails in those places. Thus, restoration and beautification of 164 pilgrimages falling within the radius of 48-kos of Kurukshetra is being done.

The Chief Minister was addressing the devotees after attending the ongoing Maharudra Yagya at the Gyara Rudri Shiv Temple in Kaithal. He said that it is a matter of good fortune to be a part of this Maharudra Yagya and by attending it he has also been bestowed by Swamiji’s blessings. He elaborated that he has an old association with this Temple and has stayed here several times. The Chief Minister shared that he had visited all the pilgrimages of this region a few days ago and all the pilgrimages falling within the radius of 48-kos are being renovated and beautified by the Kurukshetra Development Board.

The Chief Minister said that this area is the origin of Adibadri holy river Saraswati. He added that work is being done to develop the pilgrimage sites in the areas where the flow of Saraswati river has been traced, so that the coming generations can be made aware of their history. The Chief Minister said that all possible help would be provided for a huge hall to be built in this temple.

On this occasion, Local Urban Bodies Minister, Sh. Kamal Gupta, Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda, MP, Sh. Naib Singh Saini, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yatindranand and other dignitaries and officials were also present.
