Haryana’s second Technology Centre to be set up in Saha
Chandigarh, March 17- Haryana’s second Technology Centre will be set up in Saha town, located in Ambala district, for which a proposal has been sent to the Central Government regarding acquisition of 20 acres of land.
This information was shared by Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala, who also holds the porfolio of Department of Industries and Commerce, during the Budget session in the Vidhan Sabha in response to a query raised by a member of the House.
He said that though the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, plans to open only one Technology Centre in one state but the Haryana Government has urged the Central Government and has sent a proposal for opening a Technology Centre in Saha, Ambala. He shared that MSME Technology Centre was set up at IMT Rohtak by the Government of India on September 11, 2018. Short-term and long-term programmes are being run at this Centre. Apart from this, workshops and seminars are also organised here as per the requirement of the industries. Sh. Chautala informed that the Technology Centre will be established in Saha in Ambala district on the pattern of the Technology Centre at Rohtak.
