Disruptive elements to be penalized
Chandigarh, January 28 : In order to meet the growing demand and give further thrust to industrialisation in the State, HSIIDC commenced e-Auction of industrial plots for IMT Kharkhoda in 450 sq.mtr. category on 27.01.2022 through a transparent mechanism.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson of the department said that few disruptive elements, with ulterior motive, attempted to sabotage the e-Auction system by quoting unreasonably high bids for a long period of time, thus denying opportunity to large number of investors from participating in the bidding process.
He said that the Management of HSIIDC has taken a very serious view of the episode and MD, HSIIDC, Sh. Vikas Gupta has directed Chief Coordinator Industries-cum-HOD (Estate), Sh. Sunil Sharma, to enquire into the matter so as to appropriately penalise such disruptive elements, so that such incidents are not repeated in future and interest of investors is fully protected. He further added that strict action would be taken against anyone found guilty.
