Haryana Pavilion presents a captivating blend of tradition and technology

The 44th edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF), popularly known as the Trade Fair, is set to commence in New Delhi from November 14 to 27. This prestigious annual event serves as a global platform to showcase a diverse range of arts, crafts, and products from India and abroad. The theme for this year is, “Ek Bharat: Shreshtha Bharat,” underscores the spirit of national unity, cultural diversity, and economic growth.

Organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the event’s Partner States this year will be Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. In addition to this, the Focus State will be Jharkhand. Besides, there will be State Day celebrations, seminars, workshops, conferences and cultural programmes on all days.

Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson said that the Haryana Pavilion is a centre of attraction for the visitors in IITF-2025. The Haryana Pavilion presents a captivating blend of tradition and technology, with its entry façade featuring anamorphic LED screens and digital visuals that narrate the State’s developmental journey. Inside, a thematic reception area and digital theme wall highlight Haryana’s cultural pride through icons like the Surajkund Mela, Gita Mahotsav, and heritage tourism sites. Advanced installations such as the AR-based selfie point and the Holobox AI “Tau” installation adds a futuristic touch, offering a conversational digital guide that narrates stories, trivia and achievements of the State in an engaging, human-like manner.

The spokesperson said that adding cultural depth, the Chaupal zone recreates the rustic essence of Haryana’s villages, complemented by displays of Harappan artifacts linking the State to its ancient roots. Over 20 departments, boards, and corporations are showcasing flagship schemes and achievements digitally. The Pavilion also promotes artisans, Self-Help Groups, and MSMEs, with over 30 stalls exhibiting products like terracotta pottery, Phulkari, organic goods, traditional sweets, sportswear, and handcrafted jewelry. Live demonstrations by artisans, including eco-friendly art made from waste, further enrich the visitor experience, encapsulating Haryana’s harmony of heritage and progress.
