Sub Inspector Labh Singh suspended for dereliction in duty
Chandigarh, February 8: Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab. Dr. S Karuna Raju today ordered to appoint Inspector Kulwant Singh No. 51/PR as Station House Officer Police Station Shimlapuri, Ludhiana.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of Chief Electoral Office said that as per report received from commissioner of Police, Ludhiana yesterday Simarjit Singh Bains candidate of Lok Insaaf Party from Atam Nagar along with his supporters attacked his opponent Congress party candidate Kamaljit Singh Karwal, during this Station House Officer Shimlapuri Sub Inspector Labh Singh 553-JGN was present on the spot but could not handled the situation as per law due to that situation of Law and detorated. He further said that due to dereliction of duty Sub Inspector has been suspended with immediate effect and transferred to Police Lines Ludhiana and departmental inquiry has been initiated against him.
