Levying duty on vehicles under consideration

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a system should be developed for levying duty on the damage caused to the roads by mining vehicles in rural areas. Necessary decision will be taken after consultation in this regard. Roads designed to facilitate movement of villagers by vehicles transporting sand, ballast and stones etc. are getting damaged in some areas. Decision will be taken soon after consultation in this regard.
