Madhya Pradesh Rolls Out Education Portal 3.0

Education Portal 3.0 for Transparent, Tech-Driven School Governance

The School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has launched Education Portal 3.0, a next-generation digital platform, from the new academic session starting April 1, 2025. The portal integrates comprehensive human resource data, administrative functions, and academic monitoring designed to bring transparency, efficiency, and tech-driven governance into the education system.

The portal features a complete database of approximately 2.75 lakh department employees, verified at the employee and block levels. It includes a fully digitised transfer module based on the Transfer Policy-2022, and online systems for promotions, guest teacher appointments, and salary slip delivery via a mobile app.

Grievance Redressal System

To ease grievances, an online complaint redressal system has been launched to prevent employees from making unnecessary visits to district or state offices. The integrated dashboard facilitates real-time monitoring of all departmental activities from the block to the headquarters level, supported by blockchain-based technology for data security.

All schemes and functions are now being brought under a single unified portal, replacing the earlier fragmented portal structure. A major innovation in Education Portal 3.0 is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for school-level monitoring. Under the CM Rise scheme, government schools now manage their syllabus, academic calendars, timetables, teacher-class assignments, and school transport digitally. Government school buses are equipped with GPS and cameras, ensuring better safety and supervision.

The portal also digitises infrastructure availability and procurement records across all government schools. To enhance parent engagement, students’ diaries are being brought online, enabling guardians to track tests, marks, and homework from their phones.

AI-enabled Realtime Monitoring

Furthermore, vocational courses and career guidance have been digitised to empower students towards career readiness. For the first time, the state has introduced the feature of online cash book entry for government schools, allowing real-time monitoring of budget usage. Even the real-time monitoring of budget utilization within the department has been made fully online.

This comprehensive digital shift marks a significant step in making Madhya Pradesh’s school education system transparent, accountable, and future-ready.
