NCC Cadets At Home Programme at Raj Bhavan

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that the National Cadet Corps creates humane feelings and dedication for the nation in citizens. NCC training is not just training but it is the creation of youth power full of the spirit of courage, dedication, sacrifice, discipline towards the nation. He has appealed to the parents to encourage participation in N.C.C. training in chilren.
Governor Shri Patel was addressing the At Home Programme of NCC Directorate Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh at Raj Bhavan. Principal Secretary to Governor Shri D.P. Ahuja, N.C.C. Officers, women and the contingents who had returned from Delhi were present.
Governor Shri Patel said that N.C.C. training of cadets enables them to face tough situations and challenges through adventurous activities. By introducing them to the priceless cultural heritage of our country, it strengthens the sense of nationalism in them. Along with this, the cadets bring pride to the country by displaying strength, brotherhood and unity of Indian culture in camps and programmes organized abroad. Appreciating the cadets, he said that in times of crisis, disaster, environmental problems, and for building national consciousness through public awareness about any subject NCC cadets are always ahead in all works of social service. Expressing gratitude towards the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he said that he has given new opportunities to the girl child to participate in the army. Girls are now getting selected in NDA. He also appreciated the cooperation being given by the cadets of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the fight against Corona.
