Leh, Aug 21: Commissioner/Secretary Health Services UT Ladakh, Rigzin Samphel visited Community Health Centre (CHC), Khaltsi yesterday to review the functioning and other medicare facilities available at the health centre.
During the visit, the Comm/Secy took a comprehensive review and inspected different sections of CHC. He was briefed by the I/c Block Medical Officer, Dr Fayaz Ahmad about the facilities being served to the patients. He appreciated the Doctors and staff of CHC Khaltsi for their contribution in fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Later, Comm/Secy Samphel visited Balu-Khar (rubble fort) located near Indus River at Sub-division Khaltsi.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Khaltsi, Tanvir Ahmad, I/c BMO Khaltsi Dr. Fayaz Ahmad, Naib Tehsildar Sonam Phuntsog, Ex-en PWD Khaltsi, Nissar Hussain, AEE R&B special sub division Khaltsi, I/c SHO Tsering Angchok and others were present on the occasion.
