Schemes Being Operated Should be Continuously Monitored

Minister of State for Public Health Shri Brijendra Singh Yadav has directed the field officers of the department to ensure that the works of Jal Jeevan Mission completed timely with quality. He said that the mission is the priority of the Central and State Governments. Through this, water has to be made available to the entire rural households through tap connections. Minister of State Shri Yadav told the officers that the villagers should continue to get the benefits of the tap water schemes that have been completed in the mission, its continuous monitoring should be done.

Minister of State Shri Yadav said that the construction of water structures in the mission should be completed in a time-limit and the rural population gets its benefits, for this it is reviewed from time to time by the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Minister of State Shri Yadav informed that in the review meeting of Jal Jeevan Mission last week, instructions were given by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan that works of tap water schemes should be done in such a way that rural families get their long-term benefits.
