School Education Department’s Education Portal-3.0

Bhopal , 7 April 2025

A digital platform has been developed for monitoring the implementation of academic and administrative tasks and reviewing results in the School Education Department. This platform provides quick access to information at various levels, and based on this, necessary corrective actions have been arranged. The School Education Department launched Education Portal-3.0 on April 1, 2025.

Student Enrollment System

From April 1, the enrollment process for all government and private schools in the state for the new academic session is being carried out on Education Portal-3.0. For this, a Student Directory Management System has been created. The portal displays a list of potentially eligible students for Class 1, according to their village and settlement, for the concerned school. This facility will make it easier to enroll eligible students. The school head will contact the parents according to the list and ensure the students are enrolled. This year, all schools and the teachers posted in them have been given login IDs on the new portal. No student will be denied admission due to the lack of documents during enrollment.

Promotion to Next Class

Information of students already enrolled in schools for the year 2024-25 in Classes 1 to 8 is displayed for promotion to the next class. The teacher will mark the students who will appear for the exam on the portal using the teacher’s or school’s ID. For students in Class 9 to Class 12, once the pass or fail entry and percentage marks are recorded, the student will automatically be promoted to the next class on the portal. In schools where the next class (Class 6 and 9) is not available, students of Classes 5, 8, and 10 will be enrolled in nearby schools in Class 6, 9, and 11 after discussion with the school principal, teachers, and parents. The list of such students will be available on the login of nearby schools. Senior school principals can also click on the student and enroll them in their institution. In addition to government schools, all other types of schools, including private schools, madrassas, central schools, and Navodaya Vidyalayas, will log in through their school’s UDISE code, and the school principal will enroll all the students on the portal.

Identification of Dropouts

Within the first two months of the academic year, dropouts will be identified, including students whose promotion or enrollment information has not been provided for the next academic year. Necessary steps will be taken to enroll them. Education Portal-3.0 provides facilities for both government and private schools. Schools under all boards, such as MP Board, CBSE, Madrasa Board, Sanskrit Board, as well as Central Schools, Sainik Schools, and Navodaya Vidyalayas, are also registered on the portal.
