Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana Attends Closing Ceremony of India International Horticulture Expo as Chief Guest

Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said that the India International Horticulture Expo is a strong step towards Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s goal of making India a developed nation by 2047. He stated that at the pace the government is working for the welfare of farmers, India will become a developed nation even before 2047. He added that the stalls set up by various states and institutions at the International Horticulture Expo are introducing farmers to the latest technologies. The more knowledge farmers gain, the more progressive and prosperous they will become.
Agriculture Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana was speaking as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the three-day India International Horticulture Expo and Rice & Grain Expo held in Karnal on Saturday. On the occasion, he visited stalls set up by various states, departments, and institutions and gathered detailed information about modern agricultural machinery.
Agriculture Expo Will Prove to be a Milestone for Farmers and Entrepreneurs: Krishan Kumar Bedi
Haryana’s Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi also attended the India International Horticulture Expo as Chief Guest. He said that national-level expos of this kind prove to be milestones for farmers and entrepreneurs. Through stalls set up by participants from different states, a common platform is created to share technology and new ideas. He said that it is the responsibility of the state government to encourage the organizers of such expos and the farmers and entrepreneurs participating in them. Such exhibitions not only provide new direction to farmers but also strengthen the agricultural economy of the state.
