Appeals to Farmers to Postpone Protests

The Indian Army has once again demonstrated its valor by launching a strong attack on terrorism, destroying their hideouts and proving that we will not tolerate terrorism and oppression. Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar, expressing these sentiments, said that we salute our brave armed forces who have struck a major blow against terrorism, a threat to humanity, by destroying terrorist hideouts. He also specially thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for giving the army the opportunity to professionally select their targets. Jakhar stated that our forces have done commendable work by targeting only terrorist hideouts in a very calibrated, measured yet very forceful manner while ensuring there are no collateral civilians casualties. The entire nation stands like a rock with our army.
At the same time he appealed to all farmer organizations and other groups in the state to postpone their protests and demonstrations for now, as this is a time to confront the enemy. It is the duty of all of us to stand with our country and our army.
