Chandigarh, September 10  – The book ‘Sufi Satta and Samaj’ by Harbans Singh, published by Haryana Urdu Academy, was released by senior litterateur, Sh. Madhav Kaushik and vice-president of Haryana Urdu Academy, Dr. Chander Trikha, at Haryana Academy Building, Panchkula today. While discussing Dr. Harbans Singh’s writing style and deep study, Sh. Madhav Kaushik, appreciated the Author’s writing work.

Dr. Chander Trikha, said that the book ‘Sufi Saints and Samaj’ is unique in many respects. Many scholars find similarities between monism and Sufi sect, and somewhere the Sufi sect is said to be influenced by Indian spiritual philosophy. But it is also clear that the direct source of Sufi poets in Hindi was not Vedanta but Wahdat-ul-Wajud as propounded by Ibn Al Arabi.
