TO CELEBRATE WORLD ENVIRONMENT HEALTH DAY AND THE 115TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH

The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University organized a very progressive and thought-provoking lecture on the theme of World Environment Health Day on 28th September 2022 on the institution campus. A very notable and effectual lecture was delivered on the same by Dr. Aditya Kishore, who is serving as Medical Officer at Prof.Gursewak Singh Govt. College of Physical Education, Patiala. The speaker acknowledged the students about the urgent need to strengthen the approach that functions at the nexus of humanity and shared environmental health.
It was followed by a very persuasive and impressive speech marking the 115th birth anniversary of legendary Bhagat Singh by one of the faculty members, Dr. Manpreet Mehnaaz (Assistant Professor, Punjabi). Her speech was a true benchmark of charisma and enthusiasm. Very passionately she deciphered the real essence of Bhagat Singh. Her words decoded the true symbolism of the image of Bhagat Singh. Her words allowed us to search for a new identity of Bhagat Singh through his writings and literary works. The event continued with a series of inquisitive question sessions by the students which ensured the desired learning outcomes of this entire event. Col. Navjit Singh Sandhu, (Registrar) Dr.SnehLatta, Dr. Sonia Saini, Dr.Charu Sharma, Dr. Sunman Kaur Bains, Dr. Harjot Kaur, Dr. Madhvi Tiwari, Dr.Amaika were present in the event.
