Under Mission Chardi Kala – Lala Prabhdayal Trust distributes 237 school bag kits among students of flood-affected area schools

Under the directions of District Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Sakshi Sahni and with the support of District Education Officer (Secondary) Mr. Rajesh Sharma and the district administration, a program was organized under the leadership of Red Cross Society Amritsar Secretary Mr. Samson Masih to help students studying in government schools of flood-affected areas. As part of the ongoing initiative by various social organizations to provide school bags and educational materials to students of government schools, a school bag distribution ceremony was held today for the students of Government Middle and Elementary Schools in village Gurala near Ajnala.

During the event, the trustee members of Lala Prabhdayal Dharamshala Trust, Amritsar — Mrs. Manju Pishoria, Mithun Pishoria, Raghav Pishoria, and Suraj Pishoria — distributed around 237 school bag kits and other essential educational materials worth approximately Rs. 1.25 lakh among the students.

On this occasion, Headmistress Mrs. Amanjit Kaur and Headmaster Mr. Tarsem Lal expressed gratitude to the social organizations for their noble efforts to support underprivileged children. They said that this timely assistance would help the children of flood-affected areas continue their education and improve school attendance.

Among those present on the occasion were Pankaj Singh, Vivek Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Rashpinder Kaur, Harpratap Singh, and Tarsem Singh, among others.
